Three Salesforce releases a year. Every new connected app another door to check. One admin, holding all of it.

That is not a performance problem. It is a coverage problem, and it is the reason managed support exists.
The difference

Choosing between proactive management and reactive help

That is the distinction. Support answers questions and fixes issues when you raise them. A managed service also administers, secures and improves the org to agreed SLAs, whether or not anyone has noticed a problem yet.

Which one, and when

Which is the right solution for you?

Whether you want predictable, ongoing support or flexible, reactive assistance, we have the right support services for you. Our Salesforce-certified experts are here to help, and these are the six moments that usually send organisations looking.

You have no Salesforce owner, or are about to lose one

Whether you are recruiting, or have decided not to, a managed service takes the platform on from day one and documents it properly while it does.

Managed Service

A release broke a flow nobody owned

Three releases a year, and no one is reading the notes against your configuration. Release management is proactive work by definition.

Managed Service

You failed, or fear, a security review

Connected apps, stale tokens and over-permissioned profiles. This needs regular attention rather than a one-off panic.

Managed Service

Your admin is capable but stretched

They can run the org. They cannot also be an integration architect. Buy the specialisms and leave them to the work only they can do.

Flex24

You need occasional expert cover

Holiday, parental leave, a busy quarter, a project that needs a second pair of hands for six weeks.

Flex24

You are not sure how bad it is

Before committing to either, find out what the org actually needs. The findings usually make the choice obvious.

Health Check

Let us find the right fit for your business. If none of these quite fit, a Salesforce Health Check tells you how much support your org actually needs before you commit to anything.

How the admin role is changing

If your Salesforce admin is increasingly under pressure, there is a good reason. When Salesforce first launched, the role was fairly straightforward; manage users, fields, reports, page layouts, and basic workflows. It was repeatable and predictable.

But over the intervening two and a half decades Salesforce has grown from a basic CRM to an enterprise grade commercial stack. Every release adds more complexity through expansion, integrations, and automations, and the role of your admins has had to grow with it:

The admin role, then and now

The early Admincirca 2005 · one discipline
  • Users
  • Reports
  • Dashboards
  • Page layouts
  • Custom fields
  • Workflow rules
  • Data imports

7areas. One person could realistically own the entire platform.

Expanded into

The modern Admintoday · many disciplines
  • User lifecycle
  • Identity
  • Authentication
  • Security
  • Permission set strategy
  • Sharing architecture
  • Business process analysis
  • Flow automation
  • Release management
  • Sandbox strategy
  • AppExchange governance
  • Connected apps
  • Integrations
  • APIs
  • Middleware
  • Data governance
  • Reporting strategy
  • AI readiness
  • Prompt Builder
  • Agentforce
  • MCP
  • Platform governance
  • Technical debt
  • Adoption & change

24+areas. The same role, the same headcount, far broader accountability.

Seven areas became two dozen. The expectation that one person owns them all did not move.

Two things follow from that. Single-person ownership of a platform this size concentrates operational risk, because continuity, security and institutional knowledge all sit at one desk. And the expectation itself has become difficult to justify. Asking one person to stay current across two dozen disciplines, from sharing architecture to Agentforce, is a great deal to ask of anyone. The industry is losing experienced admins for exactly this reason, and many of those who stay are carrying more than the job title admits.

Salesforce support services: frequently asked questions

What are Salesforce support services?

The ongoing work of keeping a Salesforce org healthy after go-live: administration, user support, security management, release management, data quality and continuous improvement. It is bought either as a managed service on an annual plan, or as pay as you go hours drawn down when needed.

How much does outsourced Salesforce support cost in the UK?

C24 managed plans run from 7,000 pounds to 36,000 pounds a year depending on complexity and SLA. Pay as you go support is bought as a bank of hours. Both prices are published, which is rarer than it should be in this market.

What is the difference between Salesforce support and managed services?

Support is reactive: it answers questions and fixes issues when you raise them. A managed service is proactive as well: it administers, secures and improves the org to agreed SLAs whether or not anyone has reported a problem.

Should we outsource Salesforce support if we already have an admin?

That depends on the shape of your team rather than a rule. Many clients keep a capable admin at the centre and buy specialist depth around them, because one person cannot reasonably cover security, data architecture, integration and release management alongside daily user support. Others hand the platform to us outright, either because they have no admin or because they would rather their people worked on the business. We deliver both models and will tell you honestly which looks like better value for your situation.

Can you run Salesforce for us completely, without an in-house admin?

Yes. A managed service plan can carry the whole platform: user administration, security, releases, data quality, reporting changes and escalation, to agreed SLAs. Plenty of our clients have no internal Salesforce admin at all. You keep ownership and decision-making; we do the work and report on it.

Can we switch from another Salesforce partner?

Yes, and it is more common than you would think. We start with a structured org review and handover, so nothing gets lost and quick wins surface in the first month.

Do you support orgs you did not build?

Most of the orgs we support were built by someone else. The review at the start exists precisely so we understand what we have inherited before we touch it.

Is your Salesforce support team based in the UK?

Yes. The certified team that answers your tickets is UK-based, working UK hours, with a 24×7 option on the Silver and Gold plans.

What does a Salesforce support partner actually do day to day?

User and permission management, security and connected app review, release regression checks, data quality and deduplication, report and dashboard changes, small configuration work, and escalation for anything that breaks. Higher tiers add integration monitoring and third party app support.
