Admins and developers alike will enjoy the greater flexibility and speed these upgrades bring.

2. Agentforce 2.0 Arrives

The next evolution of Agentforce is here, and it’s smarter than ever. Think real-time recommendations, improved case routing using Einstein AI, and tighter integration with Knowledge articles—all aimed at reducing agent handle time and boosting customer satisfaction.

 3. Data Cloud Upgrades

If you’re already leveraging Data Cloud, you’ll see improvements in data ingestion and identity resolution. For those new to it, Summer ’25 makes the platform even more accessible with simplified connectors and more robust harmonisation tools

4. Security & Compliance

Salesforce has ramped up its security features again. This release brings:

  • New tools for monitoring user access and permissions
  • Improved encryption at rest
  • Compliance-focused updates, particularly useful for industries like finance, healthcare, and government

Now is a good time to review your sharing settings, audit logs, and user profiles.

  • Test in sandbox- Especially if you’ve got a lot of declarative or programmatic customisations.
  • Communicate internally- Let your users and stakeholders know what’s coming.
